Dementia Discovery Fund
The DDF is a mission-driven venture fund formed by the UK Department of Health, ARUK and six leading pharmaceutical companies. Scientific and investment expertise are united to fund research exploiting novel targets and mechanisms to develop disease-modifying dementia therapies. The $107m (target $200m) fund is managed by SV Life Sciences. Mile-stoned primary investments will be made in projects/companies between target identification and lead optimisation stages. The DDF will collaborate with other research initiatives whenever possible.
