We will soon be launching IELTS Academic and General Training testing on computer in Israel. The technology might be new, but everything else about the new delivery mode is the same as it is in paper-based IELTS – from the question structure and scoring to the level of security you have come to expect from IELTS.
You will hear more about its exciting details in the coming weeks. During this transition period, you will not be able to register for IELTS until April 2019. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause you and thank you for your understanding.
Test dates and locations
We offer IELTS tests in Tel Aviv. All registrations are handled by the British Council in Israel.
Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend that you register online at least two months prior to the test date. Please note, once all the test places have been assigned and the session is full, the test will no longer appear on our online registration system.
You will receive an email four to five weeks before the test date confirming the venue for your test and the timetable.
The speaking module may be taken in the period of seven days before or seven days after the written part of the test. It is usually organised in the week before the written part of the exam or on the same day as the written part. These arrangements depend on the number of candidates registered for a session.
